Uniform Structure
The official uniform structure for the San Andreas State Patrol.
At all times while on duty you must be in the correct uniform for you rank. Breaking the uniform structure will result in disciplinary action and possibly termination from the department.
All EUP numbers provided below are not for MP Ped Customization, if you wish to create your character using MP Ped Customization you will need to slightly alter the numbers to find the correct uniform.

Each Service Stripe represents an amount of time that you have been an appointed Trooper with the Department Of Public Safety.
Stripe 1 - 3 Months
Stripe 2 - 6 Months
Stripe 3 - 9 Months
Stripe 4 - 12 Months (1 Year)
Stripe 5 - 18 Months
Stripe 6 - 24 Months (2 Years)
Tattoos and Piercings
Tattoos or body art displaying the following are prohibited at all times:
racism;
sexism or sexually suggestive or explicit;
obscenity or profane;
gang or drug related;
undermining department values;
political in nature.
Tattoos on the following body areas are prohibited from view while on duty, and shall be covered at all times:
neck
head
face
ears
hands and fingers
Body Piercing and Disfigurements: Body piercing and intentional (decorative) disfigurement are prohibited from view. All piercings and intentional decorative disfigurements shall be covered while the staff member is on duty.
Note: There are exceptions for female police officers. They may wear pierced earrings of modest design and must not violate more specific department policy as written.
Grooming Standards
Male sworn members:
Shall maintain a hair style that is neat, clean, trimmed and presents a groomed appearance.
Are prohibited from using colors that detract from a professional appearance. If members use dyes, tints, or bleaches, they must choose a natural hair color.
It may be worn in a contemporary style, but it must not be long enough to touch the top of the shirt collar at the back of the neck when standing normally. Hair must not cover any part of the ears. The bulk or length of the hair must not interfere with the normal wearing of all standard headgear.
Male officers working in an undercover role can have an appearance that is at the discretion of their divisional supervision.
Female sworn members:
Shall maintain a hairstyle that is neat, clean, trimmed and presents a groomed appearance.
Are prohibited from using colors that detract from a professional appearance. If members use dyes, tints, or bleaches, they must choose a natural hair color.
When styled, shall not extend over the collar. The bulk and length of the hair must not interfere with the normal wearing of all standard headgear.
Shall not wear decoration in the hair. Hair clips or pins that match the color of hair are authorized.
Armor
For high risk response situations all personal should have an armored vest and helmet stored in the trunk of their patrol vehicle. These are to be worn for any high risk situation that you are able to properly put on the gear.
